A vehicle for your project only
A dedicated van limits transhipment and lets the route be matched to a specific schedule — including regular projects, e.g. daily departures from a courier operator’s sorting centre. We handle both single orders and enquiries about ongoing cooperation.

For regular runs we agree the volume, pickup times, operation time, route, driver requirements and reporting rules.

What to know before you enquire
- Licence from 21 May 2022. International carriage of goods by a van with a permissible gross weight above 2.5 t requires authorisation to pursue the occupation of road transport operator and a Community licence (the extract may carry the annotation “≤ 3.5 t”).
- Tachograph and working time from 1 July 2026. Vans above 2.5 t in international carriage and cabotage are subject to driving time, break and rest rules. Purely domestic carriage is outside this scope.
- What this means for the customer: we plan urgent international routes with the driver’s mandatory breaks in mind. For critical deadlines, consider a two-driver crew.

Does a 3.5 t van in international transport require a licence?
Yes. Since 21 May 2022, a carrier performing international carriage of goods with vehicles of a permissible gross weight above 2.5 t up to 3.5 t must hold authorisation to pursue the occupation of road transport operator and a Community licence. We confirm the carrier’s authorisations and documents before the order.
Can a van run without breaks, since it is not a lorry?
From 1 July 2026, driving time, break and rest rules and the tachograph apply to international carriage of goods by vans above 2.5 t. We plan the schedule of an urgent route with these rules in mind; for a very tight deadline we can discuss a two-driver option; availability is confirmed for the specific route.
When is a van better than a part load?
When no transhipment, a direct route and a fixed time window matter. With a flexible date and a smaller volume, a part load is usually enough.
